Tour Leaders
Dr. Stuart Bond
Stuart earned a Master’s in Divinity from Princeton and a Doctorate in Ministry from Fuller
Theological Seminary. In addition, Stuart has a degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and
served as a certified counselor in Washington state.
Stuart has served churches on the West Coast for most of his life as a youth pastor, executive
pastor, and a senior pastor as well as church consultant. For a decade he served as a Transitional
Pastor for four different churches until he was called as the senior pastor in November, 2025 at
First Presbyterian, Florence, South Carolina.
He and his wife, Cindy, have raised four great kids and they have three grandchildren, plus their
labradoodle, Max, who is terribly spoiled.
Dr. Barry and Susan Jenkins
Dr. Jenkins is a retired Presbyterian minister and Susan, his wife, is a retired
teacher. Throughout his ministry they have led over twenty mission trips to
the Amazon jungles and India transforming the lives of those from his
congregations traveling with them. Since retirement they have led three tours
to Israel and Greece through Faith Based Expeditions. Nothing brings our
faith to life like “walking in the footsteps of Jesus”.
Our next tour will be “Martin Luther and John Calvin Reformation” Tour. We

Itinerary
Walk the roads where the Reformation began. Over 13 days you’ll trace Martin Luther’s story from Berlin to Geneva — standing in the Wittenberg church where he nailed his 95 Theses, visiting the Eisleben house where he was born and the church where he preached his final sermon, climbing to Wartburg Castle where he hid for ten months and translated the New Testament into German, and pausing in Worms where he declared, “Here I stand, I can do no other.” Along the way you’ll cruise the Rhine, tour the Gutenberg Museum where the printing press changed everything, share a traditional “Luther Meal” with live music in Erfurt, and dine at a 12th-century monastery vineyard. The journey continues into Strasbourg’s Petite France quarter, past the spot in Konstanz where Jan Hus was martyred, through the Swiss Alps to Zwingli’s Grossmünster in Zurich, and finally to Geneva — home of John Calvin, his street, his pulpit at St. Peter’s Cathedral, and the Reformation Monument that honors them all.

Cancellation Policies
The below cancellation penalties and refund policy will apply for all travelers who choose not to abide by a country’s official travel restrictions.
- Non-refundable Third-party supplier penalties include but not limited to –
- Credit / Debit Card Processing Fee
- Land Suppliers
- Cruise Ship supplier
- Non-refundable Cruise Deposit from 149 days prior to the tour departure date
- Group Air supplier
- Etc.
- Any individual canceling between the date of registration and the Final Payment Due Date (Final Payment Due Date is 100 days prior to the tour departure date) will be penalized a Non-refundable, Non-transferrable $500 per person deposit and plus any non-refundable third-party supplier cost/s
- Any individual canceling between 99 – 85 days prior to the scheduled departure date we will be penalized the entire tour deposit plus 10% of the total tour cost and any nonrefundable payments to any third-party supplier.
- Any individual canceling between 84- 55 days prior to the scheduled departure date we will be penalized 50% of the total tour cost plus any nonrefundable payments to any third-party supplier.
- Any individual canceling between 54 – 45 days prior to the scheduled departure date will be penalized 80 % of the total tour cost plus any nonrefundable payments to any third-party supplier.
- Any individual canceling between 44 – 0 days prior to the scheduled departure date will be penalized 100 % of the total tour cost.
- Any individual canceling less than 60 days prior to the tour departure date and causes their assigned roommate to room alone and if there is no one to be assigned as the person’s roommate, then the person canceling will be responsible to pay the Single Supplement fee.
- If a roommate is subsequently found for the remaining roommate, then the Single Supplement fee will be refunded to the canceling individual.
- Allow up to 8 weeks for any refund to be issued.
